hobo - in addition to email i sent, it's important to note that we would be able to construct semi-permanent or permanent structures on land in ny - it is privately owned, I am part owner. I've experienced some problems with building such structures on state(public)lands in NY. for some reason, camping is fine, but practicing primitive living is a no-no... don't know if same holds true in ontario, but thought i'd put that out there
